Robert Pattinson Is Mad Jealous of Kristen Stewart’s Co-Star

As both are working on branching out and moving away from their characters in “The Twilight Saga,” Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are simply unable to keep the distance. He more than her, reports say. According to reports cited by Hollywood Life, Pattinson is mad jealous of Kristen’s latest co-star, Viggo Mortensen. He’s so jealous, he even plans on accompanying her on set, AceShowbiz writes.

To Robert, who is desperate to know Kristen’s every move just to make sure she never forgets she’s just acting and doesn’t fall for one of the guys she’s working with, that Viggo is 31 years her senior matters very little.

As rumors would have it, he’s afraid he might lose Kristen as she “becomes” her latest character and falls for her onscreen partner. Consequently, he wants to go with her on set.

“Robert tried to accompany Kristen on her movie set because he wanted to make sure Kristen won’t cheat on him with her ‘On the Road’ co-star Viggo Mortensen,” the aforementioned e-zine says.

“Rob plans on being on the set of ‘On the Road,’ not because he has a role in the drama, but because Kristen has a real risque part!,” a spy dishes.

“There are a lot of [love] scenes including a threesome, and Rob wants to make sure that it’s all pretend from the start and finish of the film,” the same insider reveals.

Apparently, even the fact that Kristen accepted the part got Robert more than just hot under the collar because he believes she’s pushing the envelope too much.

“He didn’t like that Kristen was even considering taking this role. He understands that she doesn’t want to be known as just Bella from ‘Twilight,’ and he’s doing the same thing with his own career, but he didn’t take on a role as risque as hers!” the spy is also quoted as saying.

Robert’s decision to accompany Kristen on set and her refusal to have him there have already created a rift between the two, who can’t seem to come to an understanding.

She’s been constantly trying to tell him how awkward and uncomfortable that would make her feel, but it’s as if he’s shut everything else but his determination out, the insider says.

“On the Road” is tentatively scheduled for a theatrical release in 2011.
