Rob Pattinson & Kristen Stewart: All Work, No Beers

If Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were ever bothered by the constant paparazzi and tabloid attention to their private lives during the making of Eclipse, director David Slade says he didn't know anything about it.

And even if he did, Slade wasn't about to get involved in any of the dramarama.

It's not that he didn't care, but…

"We had a very tight schedule so there wasn't much time to be too sympathetic, to be honest," Slade told me earlier today while promoting this week's release of the Eclipse DVD (out Dec. 4). "We had to go. We had to shoot. We had shoot after shoot after shoot. We had a 50-day schedule which isn't normally what you have for a film of this scale.

"So we just had to crack on," he continued. "If anything, there wasn't time to go, 'How are you feeling today? Are you all right? What's going on?'"

They were so busy that Slade says he never even had the chance to get to know Pattinson, Stewart and the rest of the cast too well. "All the time we spent together was working," he said. "We never hung out and had a beer. We were rehearsing. If we weren't rehearsing, we were shooting. If we weren't rehearsing or shooting, we were sleeping."

Even so, maybe we'll see Slade directing another Twilight movie one of these days? Sure, the Breaking Dawn flicks are supposed to be the last two installments of the megahit vampire franchise, but Slade laughed, "There was only going to be three James Bond movies, right?"

So, do you think Breaking Dawn should be the end of Twilight or should it go on Bond-style? Sound off below.

And that's not all I have for you from Mr. Slade. Make sure to come back here tomorrow to find out about the scenes that didn't make it into the movie, what he would do with Breaking Dawn and so much more.

Leslie Nielsen wanted to spoof Robert Pattinson

On Sunday evening, Leslie Nielsen's nephew announced that his famous uncle died peacefully in his sleep while in Fort Lauderdale, Florida just days after being admitted to the hospital for pneumonia.
The legendary star of "Airplane!" and "The Naked Gun" was 84.
Today, as Hollywood mourns the loss of a legend, news is circulating that Leslie Nielsen had no plans of hanging up his funny bone despite his escalating age.
Sources close to the "Naked Gun" star report that Leslie Nielsen wanted desperately to parody the Twilight series.
"Leslie was a big Robert Pattinson fan," a source confirms. "He would have loved to work with Robert on a Twilight parody."
Nielsen, of course, was no stranger to funny vampire flicks. The star of "Dracula: Dead and Loving It" was enamored of horror flick spoofs and frequently commented on films "ripe for parody."
Sadly, we will never see what Leslie Nielsen could have done with Robert Pattinson's iconic character "Edward Cullen."
But we can rest assured that it would have been funny.

Caught! Rob and Kristen Do It Deli-Style

As we told you last week, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson did end up spending their holiday break (from Breaking Dawn) together.

What would you expect a totally in love couple to do?

Rob and Kristen were spotted out together in Los Angeles over the weekend, at a low-key hang:

An employee confirms to E! the on- and off-screen couple stopped by Roxy's Famous Deli in the San Fernando Valley on Friday night.

The gorg duo apparently flew way under the radar, and was left pretty much alone, says an onlooker who, well, really didn't care (or care to gawk).

No wonder Robsten much prefers hanging in the Valley! Kristen is always over there, and goes fairly unnoticed.

Stewart's parents live on the other side of the debauched Hollywood Hills, so we assume that's where R. and K. spent Thanksgiving. Because we hear they did spend it together.

For you Twi-Hards keeping track (and bitching in today's mail), Saturday is when there was another Rob sighting out in Hollywood.

Glad these babes are getting some down time together before they head back to Louisiana.

More under the cut!

French horror hit 'Martyrs' will undergo an American exorcism

EXCLUSIVE: Cineastes and hardcore horror fans are already familiar with the French film "Martyrs," Pascal Laugier's dark and violent tale centering on two teenage girls who are not what they appear to be.

Now broader American audiences could become familiar with the movie too.

Producers on the Hollywood remake have just hired a director: Daniel Stamm, the filmmaker behind this summer's horror hit "The Last Exorcism," will shape the film for an English-language audience. (Oh, yes, the movie comes from the producers of "Twilight.")

As most horror-crazy types could tell you, Laugier's 2008 original was a hit in Europe and a cult success here. It tells of Lucie and Anna, orphans who establish a friendship, until one of them inexplicably goes on a murderous rampage to avenge what may or may not have been earlier incidents of child abuse. The movie was well received for not only its stylish tone but its exploration of the themes of guilt and repression.

We'll have more Tuesday from Stamm, one of the horror world's up-and-coming stars (he's also directing the next movie in M. Night Shyamalan's "Night Chronicles"). In the meantime, here's what he has to say about how "Martyrs" can be translated for a new audience.
"Martyrs is very nihilistic," he told 24 Frames. "The American approach [that I'm looking at] would go through all that darkness but then give a glimmer of hope. You don't have to shoot yourself when it's over."
Stamm did dismiss the Internet rumor that Kristen Stewart could be starring in the remake, laughing and quizzically saying that it's "the first time I've heard that."

As for the movie's story, Stamm says that its appeal lies in how it defies expectations.

"Every time you think you know where it's going, it goes somewhere else. It plays on things that are familiar — like two friends who can't be separated, kind of a Forrest Gump and Jenny situation. But then it takes a turn, and in doing so asks interesting quesitons. 'If you have a best friend in the world and she goes crazy, how much do you owe this friend to go down with them?' It's much more than a horror film."

Top Five Harry Potter Hotties—All Grown Up!

Sure, we love horcruxes and potions as much as the next wannabe wizard, but want to get in on Team Awful's spellbinding secret? We totally prefer the newer Harry Potter flicks 'cause the cast is all grown up.

And we must say, damn, the Hogwarts graduating class has some serious hotties:

While we think Hagrid is drop-dead gorge, we're focusing on the pint-size cuties who turned into cover girl (and guy) material throughout their years dueling with Death Eaters.

5. Robert Pattinson: Did you really think we'd leave our fave wizard turned vamp off this list? If only for the fact that he turned a small (albeit très sad, RIP Cedric!) stint in the franchise into one of Hollywood's hottest careers. So thank you, Harry Potter people, for introducing us all to R.Pattz's charming smile and amazing head of hair. They must have been looking into their crystal balls when they cast him

Daniel Radcliffe & Robert Pattinson's Feud: True or False?

Team Potter or Team Cullen?

A feud is brewing between Daniel Radcliffe and Robert Pattinson – who play Harry Potter andTwilight's Edward Cullen, repectively – though the fight is likely nothing more than a figment of some fans' imaginations.

"Someone was talking about this supposed rivalry between Rob Pattinson and [me], and what's awesome about this is, between the pair of us, we are striking a blow for the paler man," Radcliffe, 21, tells Access Hollywood

There is an upside to this rumor, admitted the star of the brand new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. "We are white as sheets, so it's a comfort."

Dermatologists' advice aside, shunning the sun does have its advantages, Radcliffe has also discovered. Though he describes himself as "quite skinny and pale," others find him sexy.

"I did hear from a friend that when I took my shirt off [in the movie], there were some wolf-whistles [from the audience], which I was just delighted about," he said. "I was really, really pleased."

Not that his skin may remain virgin territory. There's been talk of a cast tattoo, as happened with the actors in the Lord Of The Rings series.

"I suppose if everyone was doing it I'd probably as well," said Radcliffe. "We'd have to be very specific about the design because I'm not having a skull, or any glasses, or a broom, or a Hogwarts crest – nothing like that. It would have to be something a little bit more idiosyncratic."

Then again, "Rupert [Grint] said the other day that he's going to get my face tattooed on him somewhere," Radliffe said with a laugh. "So maybe I'll just get his face tattooed on me somewhere. We'll do sort of a swap."

Welcome to Hollywood's Super Elite, Kristen Stewart!

Sandra Bullock has had a helluva year, so we're glad she's not relying on her douche of an ex Jesse James to bring home the bacon.

Forbes recently released its list of Hollywood's highest-paid actresses, with Sandy nabbing the numero uno spot after raking in $58 million.

Naturally, we were most intrigued with the babe who rounded out the top 10...

Kristen Stewart finished off Forbes' list with a cool $12 mil and was the youngest leading lady by a long shot sitting pretty next to some of T-town's power femmes.

Totally impressive!

Obviously Eclipse has made K.Stew very in demand, but if she didn't have the acting chops to boot, we doubt she'd be there.

Plus, we have a feeling thanks to two Breaking Dawn flicks coming up, she'll steadily be moving up this list.
Reese Witherspoon (who hasn't been in a flick on the big screen since Four Christmases) tied at No. 2 with Cameron Diaz, both chicks making $32 million.

Ironically Cammy's Day and Knight costar Tom Cruise made a Forbes list himself last week...for being one of Hollywood's most overpaid stars, as did Drew Barrymore who makes an appearance on both lists.

Other babes making the cut: Jennifer AnistonSarah Jessica ParkerJulia RobertsAngelina Jolie (who, the mag points out, broke other records being on 38 magazine covers this year) and Meryl Streep.

Not bad company for Kristen, eh?

Knew this babe was doing something right. We saw it ages ago.

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart’s ‘Breaking Dawn’ On Set PDA! Exclusive Details!

While filming in Lapa, Brazil the pair spent their off camera time hugging, talking and sharing cigarettes!

As if Twi-hards had any doubt that the real life romance of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart was any different than that of fictional characters Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, the couple continues to prove they are so in love on the set of Breaking Dawn! A source who watched the pair filming scenes in Lapa Nov. 7 told HollywoodLife, “They couldn’t be more in love. Rob is very protective, every time someone said ‘cut’ he grabbed [Kristen]. He didn’t let anyone get close to her, it was so cute to see.”
The source went on to say, “He couldn’t stop smiling at her, it was so cute. He touched her face, her arms, her hair, they shared cigarettes, he helped her to walk when she hurt her feet … it was like she was the one person in the whole world for him.”
It looks like Rob and Kristen are enjoying Brazil as much as Edward and Bella did in Breaking Dawn!

Top 10 'Harry Potter' Hotties: The Crush Compilation

The "Harry Potter" movies may not be known for their sexy male actors, but over the past decade the films have definitely seen their fair share of eye candy. Some we only knew for a little while, and others we've seen grow up before our eyes.
With "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" headed to theaters next week, we've been looking back at the saga, and it only makes sense that we pay homage to the men who helped make our love for the series soworthwhile. After all, what could possibly be better than drooling over a bunch of hot Brits? (FYI, since we're looking back at the films, Jamie Campbell Bower isn't on this list, though we're sure he'll be smokin' as a young Gellert Grindelwald.)

2. Robert Pattinson
We would be remiss if RPattz didn't make it on our list, and—prepare your rotten veggies—I'll be the first to admit that I definitely think he ismuch hotter as Cedric Diggory than he is as Edward Cullen. Plus he has one of the top five most heartbreaking deaths in "Harry Potter" history, which earns him a top spot on this list. His death scene made me cry more than Sirius Black's, and that's saying something.
